Haven't seen the movie yet but I'm curious, not because of Julia Roberts, she's one of the best actresses in Hollywood, no doubt, one of my favorites, everybody's favorite, but seriously, because of Javier Bardem. Javier was the bad guy in the movie, "No Country for Old Men", and that's an understatement. He terrorized a whole town and he was phenomenal! He scared the living daylights out of everybody, in the story, and in the theaters. Everybody in the movie was scared of him. Everyone who saw the movie was scared of him. He was so real, it was horrifying!
The next time I saw him was on TV at the OSCARS and who was his date - his mother! He was so good-looking, such a sweet man, like a good son, and so utterly personable! He won the Best Supporting Actor for that role, the bad guy. Watching him on his seat at the Oscars, so handsome, and watching him on the big screen, ugly and scary, was unbelievable! That's a real actor right there, a great one!
Now he's a romantic, a gentleman, at EAT PRAY AND LOVE. I've gotta see this! I'm in love with him!
